Mobility management is aimed at limiting the use of cars for commuting, business, and social or recreational purposes, by offering motorists attractive alternatives. The point is to influence circumstances and to bring about the desired motorist behaviour: using cars less and using alternatives more. OPTIMUM² has as its goal using mobility management to offer a successful and innovative approach dedicated to improving the accessibility and sustainability of traffic-congested locations in urban areas.
